
Hi! My name is Miriam and I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Air Force Research Laboratory History Office, where I research the history of science and technology for the U.S. Department of Defense. I hold a Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of Science from Oregon State University. My areas of research include bacteriophages and antibiotic resistance, microbiology, virology, vaccines, bacteria, disease, environmental history, diplomatic history, the Cold War, the Soviet Union, and Russian history.
